How to Purchase a Silencer at Cane Creek Munitions

We’re excited you’re considering a silencer purchase! At Cane Creek Munitions, we simplify the process, making it smooth and stress-free. Follow these easy steps:

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Visit Our Store:
   Come into our retail location with your valid Driver’s License.
2. Driver’s License Scan:
   We’ll make a quick digital scan of your driver’s license to ensure accuracy in paperwork.
3. Fingerprinting with LiveScan:
   Our team will take your fingerprints electronically using our secure LiveScan system. It’s quick, clean, and eliminates messy ink.
4. Choose Your Silencer:
   Browse and select the perfect silencer from our inventory or let us find you the perfect one and order it in for you. Need help deciding? Our experts are here to answer any questions and help you find the right match.
5. Photo Capture:
   We’ll take your required passport-style photo right in-store—no need to visit a separate location.
6. Complete ATF Form 4:
   We’ll complete the ATF Form 4. You must be present when we submit the Form 4 to enter your username and PIN. This form transfers ownership of the silencer from Cane Creek Munitions to you.
7. Tax Stamp Payment:
   You’ll pay a $200 tax stamp fee directly to the ATF. We handle submitting your complete application electronically, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The $200 tax stamp fee is supposed to go away Jan 1 2025.
8. Wait for Approval:
   The ATF approval process typically takes 1 week or less for most customers. Upon approval you and I are both supposed to get the approved email. There will be a PDF file attached to the email, save that PDF file, it is your electronic copy of the approved Form 4.
9. Pickup Your Silencer:
   Once approved, stop by the store to complete a quick final form 4473, and you’re ready to enjoy your silencer!
